Erica Perkin

Born and raised in Missouri, Ms. Perkin graduated from business school with honors and attended the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law graduating in the top 10% of her class. Upon graduation, Ms. Perkin accepted a position with a large insurance company investigating and negotiating bodily injury claims. She then transitioned to civil litigation and has applied her experience with insurance companies in order to best represent her clients.

Ms. Perkin was again named to this year’s list of Super Lawyers. Honorees are nominated by peers and are considered premier players in the Kansas City legal community. She received the “Best of the Bar” award multiple times, and has been recognized by the Association of Women Lawyers as a President’s Award Recipient. Ms. Perkin is an active volunteer with several organizations and participates in mentoring programs in the Kansas City area. She is an avid blockchain investor, student, and enthusiast. With the intention of further exploring this developing field, she earned the MIT Sloan School of Business Certificate in Blockchain Technologies. This certificate, along with her professional experience, gives her a distinct advantage as this field continues to evolve.

Ms. Perkin is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas.  She is a member of the Missouri Bar, Kansas Bar, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Association for Women Lawyers and serves on the board of the Johnson County Bar Association.
