Erica Perkin

Erica Perkin is a pioneering Bitcoiner and a globally recognized leader in digital assets, renowned for her deep connection to El Salvador’s transformative regulatory framework.

She began her career as a casualty claims adjuster at Kansas Shelter Insurance Companies from 1997 to 2003, amassing six years of insurance expertise. Erica then earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) from 2004 to 2008, graduating Magna Cum Laude in the top 10% of her class.

In May 2022, she completed a certification in Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovation and Application from MIT Sloan School of Management, enhancing her technical prowess. As a member of the advisory group to the president of El Salvador’s National Commission of Digital Assets (CNAD), Erica has been instrumental in shaping the CNAD from an innovative idea into what is widely regarded as the world’s premier digital asset regulatory framework. Beyond her advisory role, Erica consults with high net worth investors, offering expert counsel on digital asset investments. With her deep expertise in legal and blockchain technologies, she leads strategic discussions, critically evaluates proposals, and delivers incisive analyses that highlight the merits and drawbacks of both the technology and the investment opportunities.
